ECHINACEA (Echinacea purpurea) – HEALTH REMEDY

It is a plant of over one meter tall with large and red flowers. Has gained the celebrity through its extremely strong immunostimulatory effects, which it recommendes it to treat a impressive range of conditions and disorders: from cold, flu and acute and chronic respiratory infections to infectious rheumatism, rebel skin diseases and various cancers. For native americans this plant is credited with other effects – the “blood purification”, detoxifying the whole body, and external, the wounds heal really fast and prevents gangrene. Although the tincture is the most commonly used form of administration the plant taken as powder often has stronger effects, including serious diseases such as cancer disease, leukemia, benign tumors. Here are the properties of this plant:


INTERNAL: immunostimulant -strong (polysaccharides with big molecular weight intensifies the phagocytosis), antibiotic -good (especially the species E. angustifolia and E. pallida), bacteriostatic by inhibiting the hyaluronidase (all species of echinacea), antiviral -good, diaphoretic –good, cleansing -medium, painkiller, antitoxic -good.

EXTERNAL: antiseptic -strong, stimulant of local immunity -good, healing -good.


 INTERNAL: – cold, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia (adjuvant) – powder – flu, respiratory infections in the acute phase – powder administered in bigger amounts: 4-6 teaspoons a day. – benign tumors (adjuvant) – powder administered on long treatments (minimum 4 months) – mastitis – powder. Will be adminitered minimum

3 months and simultaneously maintain a more natural diet, lacto-vegetarian the entire treatment time.- cancer prophylaxis, adjuvant in the treatment of cancer disease – take a teaspoon of powder 4 times a day. One course lasts 6 months, then pause for one month .- leukemia – powder administered in long-term cures (minimum 4 months) – nodal disease, infections with staphylococcus aureus – powder or macerated, infectious rheumatism, recurrent eczema infections – powder- herpes (adjuvant), hepatitis A, B, C, D (adjuvant) – combine in equal proportion with artichoke powder (Cynara scolymus).  The powder – the plant is fine grounded with the electric coffee grinder and is then sifted through a sieve for white flour. Take, usually, 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day on an empty stomach. The powder is put under the tongue for 10-15 minutes, then swallowed with water. The powder can not be kept longer than 10 days because it alters its properties.

Cataplasm – the plant is fine grounded with the electric coffee grinder, then mix in a bowl with warm water until a paste is formed, which is placed in a gauze and applied on the affected area.

The macerate – is prepared from a teaspoon of powder to 200 ml of water. The time of maceration  at room temperature is 6 hours. After maceration, it’s filtered and drank on an empty stomach, 20 minutes before eating.

Drink 2-3 cups per day with macerate.
