Rodney earned a Bachelor in Commerce (Management/Marketing)
and in Law with Honors. Rodney focused on Intellectual Property
law and was awarded a scholarship to study International
Law and Environmental Law at The University of Oregon.

Nigel Collett

Nigel Collett joined T4G after being a customer of the company
for the past 7 years looking to leverage his experience gained
most recently as an executive and leader in the Tourism sector
during the planning and hosting of an Olympic Games as well
as the health, energy and insurance sectors.
Prior to joining T4G, Nigel Collett was the Chief Information
Officer (CIO) at Tourism British Columbia, a crown corporation
whose core mandate was to market the destination to the world.
Directly reporting to the CEO, Nigel was responsible for
the Information Technology strategy and execution for the
Corporation as well as being a member of the executive team.

As Assistant Deputy Minister,
Tourism Partnerships, Susan is responsible for the development
and
implementation of key programs optimizing visitor experiences
and promoting growth within British Columbia’s tourism
sector. In this role, Susan also holds
the position of Publisher of British Columbia Magazine™.
Prior to her appointment, Susan
served on the executive of Tourism BC as Vice President
of Visitor
Experiences and previously held roles as Publication Director
and General Manager of British Columbia Magazine, as well
as
Manager of North American Consumer Marketing.
Ms. Rybar brings more than 18
years of marketing and management experience, with a strong
focus on strategic
planning, customer marketing and project management.
She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors
for
go2, the human resources organization for
tourism.
Susan has lived in B.C. virtually
all of her life and spends her free time exploring the
province with her family and her camera.

Maw, who graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria, has
spent several years in sales positions with
increasing responsibilities representing significant Canadian
corporations. He has enjoyed 20 years in the hospitality
industry, initially with the Four Seasons and Pan Pacific
Hotels in Vancouver.
He has spent the last 9 years as the Director of Sales and
Marketing at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa in the
Fraser Valley

Charlie James
Gobi Carbon Management Solutions
With more than twenty years experience in travel
and tourism marketing, sales, management and operations,
Charlie helps tourism companies integrate sustainable practices
into every aspect of their business. Before the BC Partnership
for Sustainable Tourism (ETHOS) closed their doors in November
last year, she was spearheading the development of the national
certification program in sustainable tourism. Today she is
Director of Marketing for Gobi Carbon Management Solutions
and also continues her work with Green Tourism Canada to
bring a sustainable tourism certification program to BC and
the rest of Canada.
Charlie is a graduate
of UBC’s
Institute in Sustainability Leadership, and has a Certificate
in Sustainability Management.
She is an active Board member of The Icarus Foundation, a
not-for-profit environmental, research and education organization
focused on sustaining a climate friendly tourism industry.

Rob
Gialloreto is the President & CEO of Tourism Victoria,
the destination marketing organization
for Greater Victoria. He manages a top-notch executive
team in
the delivery of the organizational mandate
in visitor services, travel trade, meetings and incentive
travel, travel media relations, destination
marketing and operations.
Under
his leadership, Tourism Victoria has been recognized
as an industry leader and valued community
partner. The organization has been acknowledged multiple
times for marketing and business excellence.
Rob was named a Top 25
Extraordinary Mind in Sales & Marketing
from Hospitality Sales& Marketing
Association International for 2009. Additionally, Rob has
achieved the Gold Medallion of Excellence
for Television Advertising from the National Council for
Marketing and Public Relations, as well
as being named Public Relations Executive of the Year in
the International Hockey League.
Rob is currently a Director
on the Tourism Industry Association of Canada Board and
the BC Destination Marketing Organization Association.
Prior to his current
role, Rob served as the Chief Executive Officer of Travel
Alberta International where
he managed all facets of the company. Rob has also served
on the Board of Directors for Tourism
Calgary. His past work experience includes municipal government,
education, and professional sports.
Rob, 47, has a Master’s
Degree in Business from Springfield College in Massachusetts
and an undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal.
He enjoys playing hockey, cooking and golf and, of course, likes to travel and explore. He
and wife Christie have a ten year old daughter,
Megan.
