Vancouver's North Shore

The snow capped peaks, forested mountainsides and waterfront communities of Vancouver's North Shore are at the heart of every image and of every visit to Vancouver. On the north side of Burrard Inlet, West Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver are easily accessible via the Lions Gate and Ironworkers Memorial Bridges and the Seabus. Small village-like communities dot the North Shore, each with its own distinct character. Bed & Breakfast and hotel accommodation, cozy cafes and 'A-list' restaurants are plentiful. Plus, a cornucopia of outdoor adventures such as kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding afford idyllic rainforest, mountain and fjord views. Interested in more cultural pursuits? Art, music, theatre and dance offerings abound for every taste. Some of Metro Vancouver's premier attractions are right here on Vancouver's North Shore. And while a mecca for visitors, don't be surprised if the person next to you crossing Capilano Suspension Bridge or riding the Grouse Mountain Skyride is a local resident. Locals and visitors alike come for retail therapy - from the quaint one-of-a-kind stores of Deep Cove to the award-winning Village of Park Royal. Without a doubt, there is something for everyone!

The majestic backdrop of the city of Vancouver, Vancouver's North Shore, is "where Nature lives". Isn't it time you paid a visit? For accommodation information and more, call 1-888-999-6169 or visit www.vancouvernsnorthshore.com.
