Event:
The World Police & Fire Games are a spectacular international sporting event, offering police officers, firefighters, customs and correction officers from around the world an opportunity to showcase their athletic excellence in over 65 sporting events.
Throughout British Columbia's Lower Mainland, from Brandywine Falls near Whistler to Chilliwack, the BC 2009 World Police and Fire Games will host a range of traditional Olympic style events as well as specifically created events to test competitors in their chosen field. These "unique" events include various shooting sports, police service dogs, SWAT for Peace Officers, a stair race and muster for Fire Fighters.
