Slow Food Cycle Sunday is an opportunity to connect—town folk and city folk, consumers with their food, people with the land.
The first Slow Food Cycle Sunday took place August 21 2005. A self-propelled adventure, for anyone with two wheels, it attracted 400 people of all ages, from the Sea to Sky corridor and Lower Mainland. A 50 kilometre street-party up Pemberton Meadows Road, enabling people to meet local growers, sample their produce, and learn about the foodbasket we live in. Not to mention, to stock up on fresh-from-the-farm supplies.
