On the North Bank of the Fraser along Hwy. 7, Pitt Meadows is the start of farm and horse country. Blueberry, cranberry and dairy farms predominate, with golf courses adding to the tranquil, green landscape.   • Pitt Meadows Historical Museum.
    A heritage house holds pictures and artifacts that tell the story of the district’s aboriginal and pioneer history.
  • Pitt Wildlife Management Area. A Bird Watchers paradise from late fall to early spring. Here Pitt River meets Pitt Lake, Noth America’s largest tidal freshwater lake. Goose Island at the notrth end of the lake is known for its waterfall and aboriginal rock painting.
