Climate

You won’t need a fur coat for a winter visit to Vancouver. Warmed by the Japanese current and protected by a ring of mountains, Vancouver enjoys mild temperatures year-round. From balmy mid-70s Fahrenheit (low 20s Celsius) in summer to a mild mid-40s Fahrenheit (0 – 5 Celsius) in winter, the climate is always hospitable. Except on local ski hills, it seldom snows in the city.
