Located in the Scenic Fraser Canyon, the Fraser River squeezes through this 35 metre wide gorge where over 200 million gallons of water per minute flow through at spring run off – that’s twice the volume of Niagara Falls!

With the help of mans’ creativity, an aerial tramway takes you on a spectacular ride high above the location where the pages of history have been written. From Simon Fraser’s death defying voyage in 1808 - to the great Fraser Canyon battle during the Gold Rush in 1858 - to the devastating slide that occurred during the construction of the Canadian National Railway in 1912 devastating the spawning salmon migration – to the building of the International Fishways in 1944, the solution to the devastation. You will stand amidst it all after a gentle 500 foot descent from highway level to river level on board the tram.
