Vancouver, Coast & Mountains, one of six tourism regions within Super, Natural British Columbia, promotes the southwestern section of the province. The region includes Metro Vancouver, Sea to Sky Country, Mighty Fraser Country and the Sunshine Coast. We work together to develop, coordinate and deliver tourism marketing programs aimed at motivating potential visitors to come and experience what the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains region has to offer.

Important Announcement!

Vancouver, Coast & Mountains is pleased to announce that effective July 1st the association will be moving to a stakeholder based model. Instead of offering the traditional marketing partner packages we will be compiling an inventory of businesses that are directly or indirectly involved in the tourism industry and will consider them a Tourism Partner (non-voting member) of Vancouver, Coast & Mountains. All Tourism Partners will be provided a listing with a link in a Partners List on vcmbc.com at no charge.

All Tourism Partners will then have an opportunity to participate in different marketing opportunities offered by the association on an a la carte basis. As soon as a Tourism Partner participates in one marketing program, they automatically become a Marketing Partner thereby giving them voting privileges within the association. We will be providing a list of marketing opportunities for the next year (06 -07) in September for your planning purposes.

Our entry-level marketing project is www.vcmbc.com, the official travel website of the Vancouver, Coast & Mountains Tourism Region. Tourism Partners who subscribe to this project will receive a feature page of their business with logo, 2 photos (primary & sidebar), 175 words copy and contact details for an annual cost of $96. Also available is an enhanced feature page of their business with logo, 3 photos (2 primary & 1 sidebar), 300 words copy, sidebar text, rotation on the front page, downloadable pdf, priority placement in search engine results, and contact details for an annual cost of $192. Over the next few months we will continue to expand the number and range of programs offered. We have been very pleased with the visitation to our website and welcome approximately 50,000 unique visitors per month who use the site to plan their vacations to the region.
