Harrison Hot Springs
Harrison Hot Springs is located about 2 hours outside of Vancouver, east on the TransCanada Highway, and is the largest lake found in the southwestern corner of British Columbia at 60 kilometers long (37.3 miles ). The lake has has a depth of 1,000 feet (333.3 yards) at the deepest point, which offers a great spot for sport fishing.

This is a resort community where you can relax the weekend away either on the sandy beach shore or wading in the waters of the natural hot springs. The community offers a number of different accommodations from Harrison Hot Springs Resort to cozy bed and breakfasts.

Annually the community hosts the World Championships of Sand Sculptures. The sand sculptures are found on display on the beach from September to October. Here not only will you find a bit of relaxation in the hot springs, but the lake provides endless opportunities for water activities. Take a kayak and discover the many coves along the lake's banks. You might even find you're accompanied by one of the many fresh water seals who make the lake their home.
