2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games

Metro Vancouver and the Whistler Resort will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The games are starting on February 12, 2010 and span over 17 days for the Olympic Games and 10 days for the Paralympics games.  There are a projected 6,850 athletes and officials and over 80 countries competing. Some examples of the events to take place include everything from Apline Skiing to Wheelchair curling.

Communities across the Metro Vancouver, like Richmond and Burnaby, as well as Whistler will be hosting the different events.
