Reduced risk of retina damage. Ginkgo Biloba possesses antioxidant properties that positively affect blood circulation to the nervous system. This herb helps to thin the blood, which makes blood flow to the heart arteries better. The positive effect of Ginkgo Biloba on blood circulation results to a lesser risk of damage to the retina that is often associated with age-related macular degeneration and other vision diseases.

Lower risk for macular degeneration. The causes of worsening eyesight include oxidative stress, free radical damage and poor blood circulation to the eyes. Ginkgo Biloba possesses the ability to correct these problems so it helps to improve eye health and reduce the risk for eye diseases especially age-related macular degeneration.

These vision problems are common among older adults. If taking Ginkgo Biloba, old people can have better blood circulation to the brain and to the other parts of the eyes.
