Banana Baby

1 cup ice
½ oz. tequila
½ oz. banana liqueur
1 oz. strawberry liqueur
3 oz. pineapple juice

1. To a blender, add ice, tequila, banana liqueur,
strawberry liqueur and pineapple juice.
2. Blend until slushy and strain into a Margarita glass.
3. Garnish with a fresh strawberry and pineapple, if desired.

 

Italizé

2 1/2 oz Alizé
1/2 oz Campari

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake Alizé and Campari. Strain into a glass. Garnish with a slice of orange.


Green with Envy

1 3/4 oz gin
1/4 oz green chartreuse
Fresh sage leaf
Crushed Ice

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add gin and green chartreuse. Stir until well chilled. Run a fresh sage leaf around the rim of a Martini glass, strain Martini in and garnish with the sage leaf.

Rose Petal Cocktail

1 oz Alize Rose
1/2 oz Absolut Razberi
4 oz soda water

Add ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a chocolate covered cherry.

Fireside Martini

3/4 oz vodka
3/4 Baileys Irish Cream
1/2 oz white creme de cacao

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 3/4 oz vodka, 3/4 oz Baileys Irish Cream and 1/2 oz white crème de cacao.

2. Shake until frothy and strain into a Martini glass rimmed with crushed chocolate.

Sherried Cider

3 oz dry sherry
6 oz apple cider
1 tsp lemon juice, fresh squeezed
1 tsp honey
Garnish - Crisp red apple slice

Heat dry sherry, apple cider, fresh squeezed lemon juice and honey in a saucepan. Pour into a heatproof mug and garnish with a crisp red apple slice.

Pumpkin Patch

1¼ oz Vodka
2 oz orange juice
Canned sweetened pumpkin purée, dollop
Nutmeg, dash
Garnish: Small orange pumpkin candy

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1¼ oz Vodka, 2 oz orange juice, a dollop of canned sweetened pumpkin purée and a dash of nutmeg. Shake well and strain into a Martini glass. If you wish to add a garnish, take a tube of green icing and place a dab on the base of glass. "Glue" a small orange pumpkin candy to glass.

The Sweater Martini

3/4 oz gin
1/2 oz blue curacao
1/4 oz raspberry liqueur
3 oz cranberry juice

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add gin, blue curacao, raspberry liqueur and cranberry juice. Stir until well chilled and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Icy Vanilla Whisky

¾ oz Scotch whisky
¾ oz Drambuie
½ tsp vanilla extract
3 oz cold milk

Stir all the ingredients together, then pour into a glass filled with ice.

Rhinemaiden

1/2 oz Calvados
4 oz off-dry Riesling, chilled
2 oz soda water, chilled

In a wine glass, add the Calvados, then the Riesling, then the soda water.

The Tequila Shade

1 1/2 oz gold tequila
juice of 1/4 lime
2 oz mango juice
cilantro

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 1/2 oz gold tequila, the juice of ¼ fresh lime and 2 oz mango juice. Shake sharply and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a generous cilantro bundle.

The Maple Leaf Martini

Juice of ¼ fresh lemon
1/8 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 tsp superfine sugar
1½ oz vodka
1 to 2 tsp maple syrup (to taste)
Garnish: frozen cranberry

In a cocktail shaker, add the juice of ¼ fresh lemon, superfine sugar and fresh or frozen cranberries. Muddle or mash thoroughly. Fill the shaker with ice and add vodka and maple syrup (to taste). Shake sharply and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a frozen cranberry.

The Mint Divine

1 1/2 oz Canadian Whisky
6 torn mint leaves
5 oz lemonade

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Canadian whisky, torn mint leaves, and lemonade. Shake well and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with fresh blueberries and a mint sprig.

Thai Mary

1 1/2 oz vodka
tabasco
fresh ground black pepper
thai basil leaf
tomato juice

Rim a glass with fresh lemon and sea salt. Fill the glass with ice and add 1 1/2 oz vodka. Add a dash of tabasco, fresh ground black pepper (to taste) and the juice of fresh lemon. Finely mince a Thai basil leaf, add and stir. Top with tomato juice and stir again. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a Thai basil leaf.

The Bubbly Martini

1/4 oz vodka
3/4 oz Chambord
1 oz raspberry juice
3 oz Champagne or sparking wine

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add ¼ oz vodka, ¾ oz Chambord, 1 oz raspberry juice. Stir until chilled and strain into a Martini glass. Top with 3 oz Champagne or sparkling wine and garnish with fresh or frozen raspberries.

1/2 ounce lime juice

Holiday Egg Nog Treat

Creme de menthe
1.5 ounces vanilla vodka
2 oz eggnog
candy cane

Fill one cap full of creme de menthe and pour into the martini glass. Add 1.5 ounces of vanilla vodka and 2 ounces (or so) of eggnog into a shaker with ice. Shake well. Pour eggnog mixture into martini glass (tilt glass and pour slowly down the side to layer the drink) Garnish with crushed candy cane.

Black Cat Cosmo

1 1/2 oz Blavod black vodka
1/2 oz Cointreau
the juice of 1/4 fresh lime
2 oz cranberry juice

Put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir and strain into a martini glass.

1 1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Chambord Royale
the juice of 1/4 fresh lime
2 oz cranberry juice

Fallen Apple

1 oz apple vodka
1/2 oz Southern Comfort
Apple Juice

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add 1 oz apple vodka and 1/2 oz Southern Comfort. Top with apple juice. Garnish with a green apple slice and a cinnamon stick.

Mango Magic

1 1/2 oz rum
3 oz mango juice
2 oz limeade (frozen concentrate)

To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add rum, mango juice and limeade. Shake and strain into a wine goblet filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a fresh mango slice.

Caramel Apple Martini
(inspired by medazona's lounge at the
Ramada Plaza & Conference Centre Abbotford)

caramel syrup
1 oz sour-apple vodka
1 oz sour-apple schnapps
1 oz butterscotch schnapps

Swirl caramel in empty martini glass. Combine balance of ingredients with ice in a martini shaker. Mix and strain into glass.

Hennessy Cosmo

1 ½ oz. Cognac
½ oz. Chambord
¼ fresh lime juice
3 oz. cranberry juice
1 tsp. wild berries

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 ½ oz. cognac, ½ oz. Chambord, the juice of ¼ fresh lime and 3 oz. cranberry juice. Stir until well chilled and strain into a Martini glass. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. wild berries

Bass Pale Ale
Guiness Draught

Fill half a beer stein with Bass Pale Ale and top with Guinness Draught. Poured properly, the Guinness should float on the Bass.

Oscartini

1 1/2 oz Godiva chocolate liqueur
1 oz crème de cacao
1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
1/2 oz vodka
2 1/2 oz half-and-half cream
Garnish: Chocolate truffle

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Serve with a chocolate truffle.

Long Kiss Goodnight Martini

1/2 oz Vanilla Vodka
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz White Crème de Cacao
Shaved chocolate and a chocolate kiss

Freeze a Martini glass and dip it in shaved chocolate to rim. To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Vanilla Vodka, Vodka and White Crème de Cacao. Shake lightly and pour into Martini glass. Garnish with a chocolate kiss.
